Bahir Dar Journal of Education seeks to broaden understanding of the processes that advance issues related to education from an educational perspective. It welcomes the submission of empirical studies, literature reviews, book reviews, and short communications on issues pertaining to education in general and teaching and learning practices in particular from all corners of the world. It accepts manuscripts focusing on educational issues at all levels of education.

As a peer-reviewed academic journal, we particularly welcome submissions that improve conceptual understanding of the field of education in which the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences has been making every effort to be a center of excellence. We understand education to be an ongoing process that affects all communities and societies at large. We, therefore, do not have a geographical bias, but wherever possible prospective authors should seek to highlight how their study has relevance to researchers and practitioners studying and actually practicing education and related area in different classroom settings and academic environment contexts.
