These include Science and Technology, Textile and Fashion Technology, Medicine and Health Sciences, Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, Biotechnology, Earth Sciences, Education, Business and Economics, Social Sciences, Humanities, Disaster Risk Management and Food Security, Land Administration, Law, and Sport Sciences. The event provides a platform for graduate students to present and discuss the latest findings in their respective research fields. The conference aims to provide graduate students with the opportunity to share their research and gain valuable experience by presenting their work in a formal conference setting. It serves as a vibrant and impactful platform, enabling graduate students from universities across Ethiopia and beyond to network while honing essential skills for their future careers. By hosting this event, Bahir Dar University advances its vision of becoming one of Africa’s premier research-intensive institutions. Renowned for its academic and research excellence, innovation, and dedication to fostering inclusive dialogue, the university takes pride in creating spaces where diverse voices and perspectives can be shared and heard. All accepted submissions are published in the African Graduate Students Conference Proceedings (AGSCP) as a book of abstracts, which is distributed to participants during the annual conference. These contributions are also published online to ensure wider accessibility and reach.
